Where it started
I started my UI/UX journey by following a UI/UX course on YouTube. This was the point where I began learning the fundamentals of interface design, user experience and visual thinking.
Watch the course↗A timeline of how I went from discovering UI/UX to designing, developing and building digital experiences.
Design × DevelopmentMy journey has been a combination of structured learning, personal projects, internships and a lot of experimenting. I started with UI/UX, gradually gained professional experience, and eventually started exploring the development side of the products I design.
The important moments, courses, internships and projects that shaped how I work today.
I started my UI/UX journey by following a UI/UX course on YouTube. This was the point where I began learning the fundamentals of interface design, user experience and visual thinking.
Watch the course↗After working on smaller projects, I started the Google UX Design Professional Certificate. I completed the program on April 28, 2025, strengthening my understanding of the complete UX process.
View certificate↗After completing the Google UX Design course, I continued making smaller projects while looking for opportunities to gain real-world experience.
I got my first internship at RemoteDev. During this period I worked on design-related tasks, created posts and contributed to a project called Style Mate.
Before finishing my first internship, I started another opportunity at GAO Tek. I worked on multiple UI/UX projects across different areas and created case studies that are now part of this portfolio.
Around the end of my first internship, I started researching web development. I became interested in understanding not only how interfaces are designed, but also how they are actually built.
I started learning web development through a YouTube course by CodeWithHarry. The course gave me a structured introduction to building websites and helped me move from designing interfaces to developing them.
Watch the course↗While learning web development, I built projects to apply what I was learning. Most of the web-development projects in this portfolio came from that learning process.
Today, my work sits between UI/UX design and web development. I enjoy understanding the visual side of a product while also being able to bring the interface to life through code.
The Google UX Design Professional Certificate was one of the major milestones in my design journey.

I'm continuing to grow across both design and development, with a focus on creating interfaces that are thoughtful, functional and actually built for the web.
This is only the beginning. The next part of the journey is about building more, learning more and bringing design and development closer together.
